CHAPTER LEAD

The marriage ceremony between Charles and Iquo was very fantastic; to say the least it was a society wedding. Charles at that time was the richest business man in his state and the business concern was moving faster than the mind could count. Iquo on her part was working in one of the new generation banks as a marketer. The meeting between Iquo and Charles happened via her line of duty; she was scheduled to win a project account from Charles’ company. A charming smile from Iquo got a hold of Charles and he could not stop thinking or chasing after her. In a matter of months, Charles had signed up to be a member of the same church Iquo was attending and before you could spell the word church, Charles became a very committed member of the church. It was not up to three months from joining the church that the big one came from the Pastor- Good news! Sister Iquo and Brother Charles will be joined in Holy Matrimony, two weeks from now.

At this time Iquo was very excited, emotionally hot but blind to some fact and reality checks that she should do. Her eyes were on the wealth and niceness put forward by her fiancée. Few weeks after the ceremony, Iquo bashed into the Pastors office ignoring the necessary protocol of meeting the secretary, filling a form and waiting for her turn to see the Pastor. Sister Iquo!
