CHOICE OF CAREER BASED ON INTEREST
Interest is defined as a great attention or concern for someone or something. Interest is the inner motivation that a man possesses. Motivation is defined as the tendency to act without being spurred by anybody. One more issue to settle before you attempt to choose a career path is to ensure that you have a strong interest for the career you want to choose. Anything you do not have interest for, you will not have the push to pursue it effectively. It will be a very dangerous adventure to run after another person’s interest and not yours. Your parents, friends and teachers’ interest is not as important as your own interest when it comes to career choice. If your parent’s interest does not align with yours in terms of career choice, their interest is not important.

“Every profession is great that is greatly pursued”. Beyond the choice is the pursuit and the proof of desire and interest is pursuit. Pursuit talks about doing everything legal to make sure that you achieve your desired profession and career goals. Your career choice therefore must be in a field that you are willing to pursue diligently. The purpose discovered and the career chosen must be pursued if not it will be a choice and discovery in futility.
