Making Marriage Work

Responsibility
Marriage itself is a responsibility; it is no playground for irresponsible people. Irresponsibility is the major sponsor of marital delay and a prominent problem of married people. When single people shy away and dodge handling responsibilities, unknown to them, they are laying up bricks between themselves and their marital destiny. The scenario that introduced Saul, David and Joseph to the throne was all the same. They were all on errand; handling responsibilities for their fathers. Begin now to grab responsibilities and handle them with dexterity.
The key to character reformation is this: “never ignore the flaw people often complain about”. Make efforts to work at changing these flaws because character will either attract or repel. Your beauty might attract people; your packaging may exert a pull on others but never let your awful character drive them away. Your personality is not a curse but a blessing. If people detest your personality and disposition, you may need to work on that area of your life.
