ONLY GRACE SWEETENS MARRIAGE
A careful examination of the grace of God in the epistles shows that the grace of God is unconditional. God loves us and supplies his grace just because he has decided to do so. Our behaviors has nothing to add to his grace.
This is exactly how couples should live and love their partners unconditionally. Giving and forgiving should be unconditional. It will certainly be not easy to live this way but when you reflect on how God loves, forgives and has brought us into fellowship with him at no cost on our part, we should emulate him.
The next time your spouse offends you, forgive like Christ not like man. When you do this for your spouse, over time your spouse will learn from you and do the same for you.
