THE HUSBAND MUST COOK

Typically in most African settins, the job of preparing meals, home making and taking care of children is shifted to the woman. This practice dates back to as far as we can remember. The practice moves from generation to generation unhindered. Could you possibly say that the practice is good or bad? That would be left for you to decide. Could you also say that the husband should not prepare meals, clean the house and care for his children? Keep the answer to your spouse.
The said practice was possible because the man was the sole bread winner for the family. This provided ample time for the woman to take care of the home. In the 21st century, the woman also wins some bread along side her husband. Would it be good to allow the work of meal preparation and house chores to the wife alone? Should the job be shared?
It's time to change gear, improve your thinking along the 21st century home management skill.
I call you blessed.
