NEVER DISCARD PEOPLE
NEVER DISCARD
PEOPLE
It
was the dawn of a new season for me as I experienced for the first time what it
means to be treated like a king. Stepping out of the first class cabin of the
Virgin airline was a whole new world to me particularly because of the array of
events that welcomed my arrival. There was a red carpet laid from the aircraft
exit to the exquisite limousine that had the plate number “presidency”. At that
point, I was thrown into confusion, could this be for me or another passenger?
My confusion immediately switch to a surprise because I spotted my name boldly
written across the red carpet, and inscribed, “You are welcome”. Beautifully
arranged were carefully selected attractive looking ladies and gentlemen lined
up on either side of the red carpet. It was such a refreshing moments as they
were smiling wide and singing a sweet melody welcome song composed using my
name.
WE
ARRIVED THE PALACE
A
three star hotel is fine but a five start hotel should just be described as a
palace. As our Nigerian people would always say “wonders shall never end”,
indeed wonders is the least description that I can give to what I was treated
to. After I checked into the room, I sat back to notice that my name was
printed on the toothbrush, soap, bed sheets, pillows, bottled water, and every
drink provided in the refrigerator. After all these drama, I had to glance
through the invitation letter again to be sure if a fellowship invited me to
preach or it was the president of the country. After the first night of the
ministration, I was gracefully informed if I will love to have my dinner at the
presidential villa. When my host noticed the reluctance in my countenance, he
let the cat out of the bag. “The service coordinator for the just concluded
service is one of our key leaders and the first son to the president.
DINNER
AT THE VILLA
I
tried to wake up again and again because I thought this was a dream. It was not
a dream but a dream come true. I had just a taste of the meal because the
presidential hand shake and chat was the all important event that stole the
center stage. As if that was not enough, the president, his wife and entire
family went on their knees as they craved my prayers and blessing. Wow! What an
experience. At the end of this entire episode, my bank account experience a
summersault that made the regional manager of the financial visit pay me an
unscheduled visits.
THE GENESIS
There
was no logical reason to have anything doing with Ubong Nkim after his display
of extreme insincerity and unfaithfulness in handling issues touching finances
and all round relationships. Ubong will lend money for so many friends and
promise to return same but on the set day, he will either ignore your calls or
simply switch off his mobile phone and abscond. It was this same Ubong that
recommended me to for the treat I enjoyed. The world is a wonderful entity yet
a small village.

The

will always offend you; learn not to judge people by their offences because you
too offend people on a daily basis.
